Just a bit of speculation, but perhaps Roland is based on the third-gen smart AI template. Halsey was partly responsible for the third-gen's creation, and could have implanted the "undid-iridium" failsafe in the core programming of a great many AIs in this way. Generation Notion
Just a bit of speculation, but perhaps Roland is based on the third-gen smart AI template. Halsey was partly responsible for the third-gen's creation, and could have implanted the "undid-iridium" failsafe in the core programming of a great many AIs in this way.
