Template:ArticleName

This article is about the UNSC autoturret. For the Forerunner weapon, see Forerunner automated turret.

Template:Weapon Infobox The UNSC autoturret is an UNSC Defense Force automated anti-personnel sentry weapon. Mounted on a heavy tetrapod, the weapon emits a visible laser to aid in targeting.

Operational history

This autoturret was frequently used in War Games training sessions by SPARTAN-IVs aboard the UNSC Infinity. It was an effective way to defend captured bases and secure objectives, especially in Dominion matches.[1]

When the Infinity returned to the Forerunner shield world Requiem in 2558, various UNSC bases and outposts were established on the inner surface of the planet. Several such autoturrets were used to defend these locations, including Galileo Base, Two Giants and Magma Base.
