- — Glassman commenting on a sudden power loss aboard the UNSC Infinity.
Doctor Glassman was a human officer of the UNSC Navy in the post-war years. He served as the UNSC Infinity's chief engineer[1] under the command of Captain Andrew Del Rio and later Captain Thomas Lasky. In 2558, Fireteam Crimson secured a Forerunner artifact and brought it back to the Infinity. Shortly after being brought aboard, the artifact began draining power from the ship, causing it to be pulled toward Requiem. Sarah Palmer temporarily shut down the artifact by kicking it, allowing Glassman to examine it. Upon further examination, the artifact reactivated, pulling Dr. Glassman inside it through some kind of portal, disintegrating him and pulling the remains inside. Captain Lasky nearly suffered the same as a result in his futile attempt to save the doctor.[2]
