That was a bit insulting. I wrote the summary right after reading it, I tried to leave out details and it wasn't for halopedia that I wrote it, it was for my thread on the halo waypoint forums. I did find it a bit amusing that the bulk of my summary had been used. Someone copied and pasted my summary to here and did a few edits. But that was still insulting. :Are you insulted by the fact that someone took your summary and posted it here? or are you insulted by what I and everyone else said about your summary? If its the later question, why would you be insulted if it was never your intention to place the summary here in the first place? In fact no one knew it was you who actually created it; at the time it was some anonymous guy we were giving the credit to. List of Apperance

On the main page for Thursday War in the character portion it is marked that Serin Osman is mentioned only in the book but in the preview she is in a number of pages can someone fix that? I would but I don't know how and rather not screw it up trying to. TLLorax 02:15, 4 September 2012 (EDT) Figured it out so that previous post was a waste of time. Reading now/Summary

Just to let everyone know, I bought the book and will be putting together a plot in the upcoming days/weeks just to help get something up faster compared to Glasslands. Hopefully I'll be shorter compared to my last effort. Anyone else got the novel?--Killamint [Comm|Files] 12:43, 2 October 2012 (EDT)

10th October. Damn Amazon. When it comes I'll help in any way I can. --TentacleTornado 13:04, 2 October 2012 (EDT)
Planning on buying it myself as soon as my first paycheck comes in from work. Though I expect it'll take awhile even with Amazon Prime. But until then, I'll help out in any I possibly can too. --Xamikaze330 13:35, 2 October 2012 (EDT)Xamikaze330
Well looks like I won't have to worry about posting the plot which brings me to my next question...--Killamint [Comm|Files] 10:31, 7 October 2012 (EDT)
I've been putting together a (hopefully) better, and easier to read plot summary. I'll edit the article and replace the current one with mine, assuming no one has done so with theirs by the time I do. It won't be perfect, but it'll be a better place to start. Flawedspirit 12:30, 15 October 2012 (EDT)
How soon were you looking to post it? I was working on a summary as well and don't want to continue the effort if you have something in the works as well. I was looking to have my version up by Wed or Fri. If you can coordinate with me on the progress w/ your summary I would really appreciate it.--Killamint [Comm|Files] 12:40, 15 October 2012 (EDT)
Nevermind.--Killamint [Comm|Files] 13:13, 15 October 2012 (EDT)

Too soon?

Was the plot posted too soon considering its only been 5 days after the book's release? Should we add a spoiler template before the plot to warn readers?--Killamint [Comm|Files] 10:31, 7 October 2012 (EDT)

I added the spoiler to it. The plot section really needs a lot of work.--Spartacus, Halopedia Administrator Talk 10:56, 7 October 2012 (EDT)
Don't look at me to fix it, I'm not even close to finishing the book. I did skim through the summary real fast and I agree, it definitely needs fixin, pretty much a rushed effort. Also the person didn't bother to add links. This has to be the fastest summary post to any of the novelizations. If Glasslands was the longest, than The Thursday War has to be the shortest. Anyway, I'll try to fix it after I read the book, but I'm gonna assume someone else will fix it by then..--Killamint [Comm|Files] 11:14, 7 October 2012 (EDT)
Wow, that synopsis made my head hurt a little... Still, as disjointed as it was, it definitely relayed enough info to merit a Spoiler Tag... Still, not bad for a rush-job by a (presumably) non-native-English-speaker. DJenser 15:53, 8 October 2012 (EDT)
Not bad but at the same time its irritating to read it, almost like someone was actually talking to somebody about what happened in the book- "They go pick up Avu as they need him and force him to get on the Tart-Cart. Naomi does it."- a bit tacky. I'm approaching the end of the book, maybe 20-30 sheets left, so I'll help clean it up.--Killamint [Comm|Files] 17:02, 12 October 2012 (EDT)

If you feel insulted because of what some of our editors said about your summary, please understand it's because we expected wiki contributors to use more formal language when they post something, especially when it's a plot synopsis. But since you were posting in a forum thread, the language had to be more conventional, which would be of lower wiki standards. —SPARTAN331 06:03, 19 October 2012 (EDT)
