Imber is a Unified Earth Government colony world in an unknown star system. Sometime late in the Human-Covenant War, the Covenant attacked the colony and Orbital Drop Shock Troopers were deployed to defend it. During the battle, Staff Sergeant Malcolm Geffen and Corporal Vasily Beloi hijacked a Spirit to exfiltrate from the planet.^[1]
