*From a screen shot in a magazine (shown to the right) The spartan on the hill has shot his Spartan Laser but there are multiple beams coming out. Bungie did state though that it fires a single beam. This could mean there are multiple Spartan Lasers on map which could mean that there could also be one (or more) at each base instead of possible Rocket Launchers. However, it could mean that in this shot it is firing multiple ~~projectiles~~ as it is still in the pre-alpha stage, and the processor is not yet coded for sustained-beam projectiles or 3rd dimension tracers.
