I still do not understand how the Spartan can see out of this helmet. It reminds me of a Welding Mask, without the rectangular view in the middle. Maybe that small round thing on the face of the helmet is functions as a sight, or maybe it works like a camera that displays the outside on the Spartans visor (Okay, so maybe the second one sounds illogical). I am just courious it is says that the spartan laser was developed in conjunction with gungnir and gungri was only recent. Yet in halo wars spartans are using spartan lasers and the sparrow hawk has a nose mounted version of the spartan laser and the spartan laser was being used in 2544 in halo legends. But it is possible that it is developed without the laser. According to the Spartan Laser article, it says that the Project GUNGNIR was started to support the SPARTAN Program, and the ''EVG'' stated it is developed "alongside the MHOLNIR and SPARTAN-II programs". Since the MJOLNIR armor program was launched in 2500, it is safe to say that the Project GUNGNIR started in at least the beginning of the 26th century.
