Soon after the Fall of Reach, on September, [[2552]], Gray Team participated in a top secret ONI mission called [[Operation: SUNSPEAR]]. The mission's goal was to locate and terminate as many Sangheili naval commanders responsible for the destruction of human worlds as possible.
