Possible Spoilers you are warned. I believe the symbol is that of the Composer. Look at the achivement list released for Halo 4 and one of the missions is called Composer. If I'm remembering correctly the Ur-Didact said in Cryptum that the highest level of the Prometheans all got their name/title from the most noticable trait they carried, such as the Grammarian(sp) and the Didact. So could this be one of the Didacts 'generals' that was really good at composing stuff and has snapped? We don't know what any of the other Forerunners personnel symbols look like but maybe the symbols for the Classes are similiar to each other. Or maybe it is just the Bornstellar-Didact. Features 2
Agreeing w/ what Subtank had previously said, I think the new multiplayer map template could be moved to the Infinity (mode) page while we just have a concise list w/ links for the MP maps here. Don't get me wrong, the template looks great but it does look like it will get long, plus we have to take into account DLC/map packs which will make it longer. Moving it to the Infinity article would be a great way to expand that page once more multiplayer maps are revealed. Also I think the plot section at the beginning (not the actual in-game plot) should be moved to the "Development" section since its refering to how the plot was "developed". Just a thought. --Killamint KillaEX 19:04, 21 June 2012 (EDT)
RTX
Arrrr, shipmates. If ye been followin' the Rooster Teeth's news, RTX visiters be gi'en the opportunity t' play Halo 4. Tis info be added t' the page? —S331 (COM • Mission Log • Profile) 12:37, 22 June 2012 (EDT)
Ancient evil
okay for those who have watched the trailers and have noticed the part where an unknown character say "I have long dreamt of this day, Reclaimer." it is obviously not didact as the symbol is clearly not his, unless its his new combined born/didact one of when his personality took over bornstellar's body at the end of cryptum but comment what you think. SPARTAN-225 19:58, 23 June 2012 (EDT)
Also this part in the trivia is incorrect as it is not didacts symbol,
'The Didact's symbol also appears in the Halo 4 Cinematic Trailer, in which the icon is shown overtaking the UNSC Infinity's monitors while a wave of orange light scans throughout the ship. The icon is later seen turning over in the end of the trailer, superimposed by the text "An ancient evil awakens" while an unknown voice is heard saying "I have long dreamt of this day, Reclaimer.'
would someone be able to delete this part as the symbol is not his, you can clearly see the difference in each other when you look at didacts halopedia page and with some clear analysis of the symbol in the trailer [1] watch from 0:53 and see that it is different from this [2]as the vertical lines connect to the outer circle in the trailer when didact's one doesn't and plus the symbol is upside down from didact's SPARTAN-225 20:13, 23 June 2012 (EDT)

In this article under the Demonstration videos section, it says that the Prometheans are unveiled to be the "ancient evil" when in fact, Frank O'Connor says here that they haven't revealed what the "ancient evil" is yet. I just thought I would bring that up for accuracy purposes.--Kamikaz 13:35, 25 June 2012 (EDT)

Exoskeleton in 'Vehicles' section
The vehicles list has two these entries: "Cyclops Mark II" and "UNSC powered exoskeleton". Is that a mistake, or there is a second type? PatrickRus 21:06, 25 June 2012 (EDT)
New Inifinity Slayer Info
They just posted a new Waypoint Bulletin (post independence day) with some new info as well as some new screenshots and a video for Infinity Slayer. I'll try to add some of this info soon unless someone else gets to it first. --Killamint KillaEX 15:48, 6 July 2012 (EDT)
Forerunner EMP Grenade
In a new Spartan ops gameplay, a player can be seen throwing a grenade that bursts in an EMP explosion [3] It is used at around 11 minutes in. —This unsigned comment was made by Crisperstorm (talk • contribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~
- Its too soon to say the grenade itself is a "Forerunner" grenade. Even if it is, the video is very fuzzy and unclear, pretty much recorded with a cruddy cellphone camera. To put it in better terms, we need an offical/reputable source from youtube before coming to conclusions and adding a new feature. --Killamint Comm 19:45, 18 July 2012 (EDT)
Theater Mode
Is Theater Mode returning in Halo 4? I didn't see anything on any articles mentioning it. Ιι Ηη Ππ 02:42, 4 August 2012 (EDT)
- Most likely but it hasn't been confirmed by 343i yet.--Killamint [Comm|Files] 16:08, 12 August 2012 (EDT)
Covenant Organization
I was searching the internet for news about the game when I came across several articles that indicate that the new Covenant organisation is known as the "Storm", which is consistent with the new "Storm" variants and weapons. Should we add this to the page, or wait until more information is released? Source: Here. --Cyrannian 20:45, 12 August 2012 (EDT)
- I guess you can add it to the "Features" section. In my opinion, "Covenant Storm" (?) should deserve its own article. —S331 (COM • Mission Log • Profile) 21:07, 12 August 2012 (EDT)
Weapons
Hi, there is the prometean repeater [4] --78.12.158.96 17:42, 15 August 2012 (EDT)
- Nice find but we need a source stating for sure that is the Promethean Repeater, and also we need a picture of it without a weapon skin before we can setup an article for it. --Killamint [Comm|Files] 19:58, 15 August 2012 (EDT)

Confusion with Source
A new source has popped up from IGN explaining Halo 4 specializations that will be available in the game along with descriptions of each. However, with each "specialization" they show an image of a unique armor permutation. My question is this: Does that armor permutation represent the specialization? Or does the specialization come with that armor permutation? It's a tad bit confusing especially because I see "pathfinder" which I thought was a armor variant. Also ADinoSupremacist added the Hyabusa armor to the article as making an appearance, however after reading the source it doesn't explicitely state that the armor will be in the game, more-so just mentioning it. --Killamint [Comm|Files] 19:58, 15 August 2012 (EDT)
- bs angel clarrified a bit in this thread. Just scroll down to her post on page 2.--210.56.91.48 22:56, 15 August 2012 (EDT)
Halsey
States "Catherine Halsey" in the characters section. SDCC Panel QA says she and other Blue Team members are not in Halo 4.27.252.196.179
They lied.--ADinoSupremacist 21:59, 16 August 2012 (EDT)
- Not the guy above, but if the source points to Halsey and the other listed characters being in the game, I can't see them. Certainly I can recognise some, even Lasky and Del Rio, but not the ones listed by the source.--Hawki 22:51, 16 August 2012 (EDT)
- Edit: Found the script which reads some of the names. I'm wary, remembering the old ODST script leak SNAFU, but I guess they can be listed.--Hawki 22:59, 16 August 2012 (EDT)
Frank responded to the Halsey leak over NeoGaf (which I don't use so I don't have a link, it's on Waypoint), and he said that it's not a serious leak at all. It would actually make sense for Halsey to be on the Infinity since it's made up of Forerunner tech. Maybe Paragonsky decides she's useful on Infinity.--ADinoSupremacist 00:11, 17 August 2012 (EDT)
- Speculation alert!- "...Maybe Paragonsky decides...". You cannot "guess" her appearance in the game. Also this could be a completely different "Halsey". 343i "lying" is also a guess. Best to wait till more clear-cut information has been presented especially since it has already been stated that she (nor Blue team) will not be in the game. --Killamint [Comm|Files] 08:46, 17 August 2012 (EDT)
Why would there be a different Halsey? The script shows Halsey talking with Lasky. --ADinoSupremacist 13:45, 17 August 2012 (EDT)
- Can someone link the script here so others can see it?--Spartacus (Talk | Contribs) 14:27, 17 August 2012 (EDT)
You can see Lasky saying: "Doctor Halsey!." At one point Halsey shoves aside Lasky and talks to a character named Roland. --ADinoSupremacist 16:14, 17 August 2012 (EDT)

Wich roughly translated tells that a new skin for the assault rifle and for the armor are included into the LE (the skin name seems to be "Prime"), and also a new armor is shipped with that, the "Recruit Armor", and a "Prime" Emblem too. For the avatar there are the cryo-tube and a recruit armor. Sorry for the bad english, but i don't speak it as Motherlanguage

Halsey Page
Ok I went through the time of fixing up the Halsey page script and this is all I could get. Anything that is "---" is blurred.

- Halsey (CONT’D)
- ---….full of human memories
- --- who has completely let his guard down.
- ---, wide eyed. Stunned
Here is a link to the page that I fixed up in photoshop.[5]… After reading this I think this might not be apart of the game. It seems to much like apart of a book, possible The Thursday War. This would make sense as Frank said those two pages of scrip are not spoilers.--ADinoSupremacist 15:48, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
I took a look at that script too & here's what I was able to make out:
- Halsey is knocked on her ass by the blast
- As she's recovering, we see that, all around her, the (screens?) FLICKER and FLASH a symphonic WHITE NOISE
- Lasky races into the room, followed by DeMarco(?), ????? and Thorne, their weapons raised, turning about, ?????? ?????? prepped for battle.
- LASKY: "Doctor Halsey!"
- Halsey brushes Lasky aside as she gets to her feet.
- HALSEY: "Roland, freeze all monitors."
- All round them, monitors FREEZE FRAME on random scenes (images?) They are indistinct, motion-blurred or low light ???? ???? ???? like snapshots from a "mind's eye camera". ?????? ????? depicting everyday human life in the 26th Century.
- ROLAND (V.O.): Pictures? Civilian Life. Maybe a (record?) for something.)
- HALSEY: Not Pictures. (beat) Memories. (notation: "Fascinated de--")
- Halsey is fascinated by the physical object of the ????? ?????. She leans in close, inspecting it some more.
- HALSEY(CONT'D): An alien AI full of Human memories.
- (Thorne?), who has completely let his guard down, (stares?) at the screens, wide-eyed, stunned.
- THORNE: (That's?) New Phoenix. ??????. (I?) grew up there. (notation: "Voice Catch?")
- DEMARCO: (That?) can't be right.
- ??????? calling out images (from?) ??????
Based on a couple of things I can tell that this is defnitely a voiceover script for spoken dialog, as indicated by Roland's "V.O." line & also by the notations in red which are meant to emphasize some sort of vocal inflection; In Halsey's case, it's a tone of fascination, & in Thorne's a welling of emotion as his voice catches in this throat. I very much doubt it's from "The Thursday War", but it might not be from the H4 Campaign, either... Possibly from Spartan Ops?

Inclusion of the Jiralhanae
Okay, so one of the unveiled achievements has just revealed the return of Hunters. However, another achievement has also revealed that the Gravity hammer will be in the game, and that most likely means the Brutes will be as well. The Achievement requires you to kill Promethean Crawlers on the eighth mission, in case anyone is currently unfamiliar with the achievement. Because enemies like the Prometheans are restricted to campaign and Spartan Ops mode, does this mean that the Brutes will also appear those game modes? It seems highly likely to me; the gravity hammer is a highly ceremonial weapon for the Brutes, one which is reserved for their pack leaders. And unless this new Covenant faction has recently gained a fondness for Brute weaponry, I think the appearance of such a weapon in the game's campaign is credible enough for us to conclude that Brutes are in the game.--Brute Honour Guard File:Bruteface.png ("Talk") 00:30, 23 August 2012 (EDT)
- Sounds good enough to me. Also, does anyone find it odd that there are only eight missions? Alex T Snow 05:30, 23 August 2012 (EDT)
- It does set a new record for the least campaign levels. Combat Evolved and Reach both have ten levels (excluding Lone Wolf in Reach). At 15 tracks, the soundtrack is relatively short too. Back to the Brutes, I agree with the BHG. The Storm is probably compromised of the Servants of Abiding Truth, and since there are Brutes like Manus who followed the Elites after the war, the Brutes we might encounter in-game are probably also part of the Servants of Abiding Truth. Man, are those Elites forgetting about the Great Schism?—S331 (COM • Mission Log • Profile) 06:08, 23 August 2012 (EDT)
- Bad news, everyone; Frank O'Connor has confirmed that the Jiralhanae will NOT APPEAR in Halo 4: http://halocouncil.com/content.php?r=702-No-Brutes-In-Halo-4 -- Dr Mutran 13:07, 23 August 2012 (EDT)
- Good news to me, I don't like fighting them anyway. Lets put it this way, the Storm needed weapons, whether it was Brute weaponry or plasma. The schism took away resources and they had to scavenge for anything they could find, like the Abiding Truth. @Alex, S331: The campaign levels, while being smaller in number, may in fact be longer than the previous games. Reach, for instance was quick, especially Nightfall. In contrast, Halo 4 may have campaign missions that last 10-30 minutes longer (being realistic). But that's just a guess for now.--Killamint [Comm|Files] 13:39, 23 August 2012 (EDT)

campaign
It seems to me that, since we have the list of the Campaign levels, it's time to give Campaign its own section. Do you agree? Please share whatever thoughts you have, stupid or otherwise.Weeping Angel 15:09, 23 August 2012 (EDT)
I'll use Halo 2 as an example. Many of the original levels were cut into two due to technical limitations. If we condensed the New Mombasa, Threshold, Delta Halo and Library pairs of levels into one playable level each, easily possible with modern technology, we would be left with only 9 playable levels. which is only one level more than in Halo 4, and considering how wonderfully cluttered Halo 2 was, if 343i can streamline Halo 4's story into 8 individual levels, there's still a lot of room to tell a tight and solid story. -- Specops306 Autocrat Qur'a 'Morhek 18:42, 23 August 2012 (EDT)- Bluh I'm blind.
