The Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn teaser trailer is a short trailer for the upcoming live-action Halo series named Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn. The teaser was first published in Machinima.com's YouTube channel on July 1, 2012.[1] It later made its debut on Halo Waypoint.[2] It runs for 55 seconds.
Transcript
Video opens with a black screen. A marching percussion beat is heard. The Marines start their cadence.
- Marines: "Helljumper, Helljumper, where ya' been?"
Scene cuts and pans over discarded rounds on a metal floor. Steam can be seen on the side. An short electric spark reveals a sign of a star on the floor. Fades to black.
- Marines: "Feet first inta hell and back again!"
Scenes cuts back to panning over the metal floor, now zoomed out to show a fallen dented metal fence as well as the discarded rounds seen previously. Another electric spark reveals a row of cryo chambers in the background. Fades to black.
- Marines: "When I die please bury me deep!"
Scene cuts back to the row of the cryo chambers. More electric sparks set off from the walls around it. More steam is seen being ejected from the cryo chambers. Fades to black.
- Marines: "Place an MA5 down by my feet!"
Scene cuts back to the cryo chambers. A black figure appears as the lights flicker. Cuts to black. the figure is revealed to be a SPARTAN-II holding a pistol. The Spartan slowly turns. Cuts to black.
