UNSC Dresden was a Marathon-class heavy cruiser that was destroyed above Biko during the Human-Covenant War. Sometime after the war, Oliver Birch was contracted to retrieve a saddle box that was attached to the Dresden.^[1]

The Dresden was likely named after the historical German city of Dresden, which suffered severe bombing at the end of World War II.
