United Korea, occasionally referred to by the former South Korean endonym Hanguk (한국),[1] is a country in Northeastern Asia situated on the Korean Peninsula on Earth.

The name Jiralhanae is accually a Korean bad word.
History
Korea was divided into two countries, North Korea and South Korea, in 1945 and remained this way for many years. However, the two countries reunified at some stage before the events of the Human-Covenant War to form United Korea.
The UNSC has a number of locations in Korea, namely, the Special Warfare Center in Seongnam, Kyonggi Province. This is where the MJOLNIR Mark VI was tested by Maria-062 before it was sent to Cairo Station for use by John-117.[2] The MJOLNIR "C" variant and a number of others were also tested in the SWC.[1]
