The MJOLNIR Mark VI Rogue Variant.

The Mark VI(A) MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor, otherwise known as Rogue, is a privately manufactured variant of the MJOLNIR Mark VI armor.[1]

Development and History

The Mark VI(A) armor was one of many "privatized" variants, manufactured by private industrial firms, as the UNSC called upon private industries to manufacture classified war material after the fall of the Outer Colonies.[1] The Mark VI(A) in particular was created and manufactured by the Vestol Corporation; then subsequently tested at the Vestol Simulation Lab. The 'Rogue' Armor saw limited use during the Human-Covenant War, despite reports indicating the Mark VI(A)'s exceptional performance.[2]

Characteristics

Unlock: Unlock the Spartan Officer achievement, only obtainable through online multiplayer.
The helmet has one small visor that resembles a pair of sunglasses, rather than the typical MJOLNIR visor. The mouth-guard appears longer and thicker with an added "hole" in the center of the mouthpiece, it seems that it is actually part of the helmet rather then an add-on otherwise it wouldn't be classified as a separate variant. The top of the helmet, which has been mistaken for the "stealth" helmet, is much more rounded as well. The mouth guard rounds, shapes, and cups into a circular black piece in front of the mouth that forms the aforementioned "hole".

Trivia

  • The Rogue and Hayabusa armors are the only Halo 3 Armor Permutations that did not return in Halo: Reach, although the EOD helmet with the UA/HUL attachment does bear a resemblance to the Rogue helmet.
  • Sometimes a glitch will occur when attempting to unlock the Helmet. If you reach your Highest Skill then you will skip over the rank of which you earn it at. You will be able to unlock once you are ranked up again.
