Avu Med 'Telcam, also referred to as "The Bishop," is a Sangheili fundamentalist and a representative of the Servants of Abiding Truth (Neru Pe 'Odosima). Formerly of the Covenant Army, where he worked as an interpreter for Human languages and later obtained the rank of Field Master prior to his resignation, 'Telcam views people such as Arbiter Thel 'Vadam and his "infidels" as traitors to their faith. Currently, working with the United Nations Space Command's Office of Naval Intelligence, he is attempting to begin an insurrection against Thel 'Vadam's forces, which brought down the final remains of the Covenant Empire at the Ark.[1]
