The Conduit was a form of rapid transit used within the Covenant holy city of High Charity. It consisted of a beam of green energy projected from a station located on the city's edge, guided by a series of support rings, through which an individual would be propelled to the Conduit's endpoint extremely high speeds.
The only known instance of the Conduit's use was to allow the Prophet of Truth and John-117 to enter the Forerunner Dreadnought at the conclusion of the Battle of High Charity. It is unknown whether the Conduit could be used to reach other locations in the city, or whether there was more than one Conduit.[1]
