UNSC Dresden was a Marathon-class heavy cruiser that was destroyed above Biko during the Human-Covenant War. Sometime after the war, Oliver Birch was contracted to retrieve a saddle box that was attached to the Dresden.[1]
Trivia
- The Dresden may be named after the historical German city of Dresden, which suffered severe and controversial over-bombing at the end of the Second World War.
- Dresden's saddle box had been modeled after a commercial " '44 model" by Oros Trading Company. Assuming that this refers to 2544, the Dresden must have been destroyed over the planet nearly twenty years after its initial glassing, which took place between 2525 and 2526.
