Fifth Platoon was a UNSC Marine Corps "ship platoon" unit stationed aboard the UNSC Pillar of Autumn in 2552.[1] The platoon was sent to secure the airlocks of Deck 11 of the Autumn during the Covenant boarding action of the ship during the Battle of Installation 04. It is unknown whether or not the platoon made it off the damaged Autumn.
