As the name implies, this kind of launcher fires warheads vertically, in order to make them fall on hostile ground units, inflicting devastating damage. This launcher normally mounts ANVIL-IV Air-to-Surface Missiles.[1]
This weapon can be used as a unit ability in Halo Wars by pressing "Y" on the control pad, activating a "Missile Barrage," which can be upgraded for even more power.
