NOTE: If you prefer the Needle Rifle to the DMR, and took one from the caves where you encountered the Drones, Jackal Snipers, and Skirmishers, it's arguably more powerful in the next section; however, you will have to be very judicious with your shots throughout the level to have enough ammunition for it by this stage for it to be useful.
