The Commando Unit^[1] is a Covenant Separatist Sangheili unit. It is part of the Special Warfare Group. Its operatives were equipped and issued with the superior-quality and lighter-weight Commando Harness compared to the standard-issue combat armor.

The Commando Armor is an Armor Permutation unlockable for use in Halo 3 Multiplayer.
