:Remember what we said last year. Besides, our notability policy on battles in the first game is that they can only have articles if they appear in the novelisation (it's stupid, I know). I feel that this engagement is notable enough. It marks the release of the Flood into the region, the end of the UNSC's campaign against the Covenant (from what we've seen, even in the novel, the UNSC stops taking part in engagements, with the exception of the final raid at the very end), the discovery of the Forerunner constructs along with that whole business with Fireteam Charlie. Only some of the levels in the first game really qualify as battles ("Halo"; "The Library"; "Two Betrayals" and "The Maw" do not count).-- [[User talk:Forerunner|Forerunner]] 17:43, 31 January 2011 (EST)

So, we should write a battle per level, I take it? Because the event in the containment facility is in no way notable enough to warrant its own article. It should be merged into the Battle of Installation 04. — subtank 16:59, 31 January 2011 (EST)

Remember what we said last year.
