A Covenant power module also known as a Covenant Core is the Covenant equivalent of the UNSC Navigation Core.
Overview
These modules are used for operational power within any major Covenant structure or possibly even ships. Sangheili are known to heavily defend these modules from getting into the UNSC's hands. These modules are known to be stored in Covenant Spires[1]. If the UNSC capture one of these modules can lead to them finding out about some of the Covenants secrets. These modules can also lead to core Covenant planets.
Appearance
These modules are strikingly similar to plasma batteries in style. The shape itself is much like a thick dumbell. Hands can fit through the bars for on-foot travel. Although similar to plasma batteries, these modules don't explode when shot.
List of appearances
- Halo: Reach (First appearance)
Trivia
- It is very likey that these modules contain Covenant AI.
- Its awkward how such important devices are stored in a structure very prone to an attack[2].
