The Roll of Celibates is a collection of San 'Shyuum who are not permitted to breed under Covenant law due to genetic failings that have grown common in the San 'Shyuum community. While celibate, the members are not sterilized and may engage in sexual activity provided that any resulting offspring are subsequently aborted.[1]
However, breaking such an oath of Celibacy will result in the sterilization of the being. The Minister of Fortitude mentioned that even a Hierarch had no right in stopping the sterilization of those breaking the oath.
