Auntie Dot was a UNSC Artificial Intelligence construct at the time of the Fall of Reach.[1] She keeps the player connected to the rest of Noble Team while they are embarking on separate missions, and plays a similar role in Halo: Reach to the role Cortana played in the original trilogy.[2] Rather than personifying herself in the form of a humanoid avatar, Dot's personal representation is a grid of glowing, constantly changing blue lights; Dot's grid is displayed as Halo: Reach's loading screen.
Trivia
- Auntie Dot's voice is usable in Halo: Reach's Firefight mode.[1]
