Description
The weapon is capable of launching four explosive plasma bolts which then track vehicles and bipeds in a similar way to the Needler. The bolts have a slight delay on them which makes the weapon capable of "from the grave kills".[1] It has an appearance slightly similar to the Halo: Combat Evolved Fuel Rod Gun, with them both being a heavy weapon and both being colored purple.[2][3]
Trivia
- This weapon may fill the void for the primary Covenant heavy weapon, with the unknown status of the Type-25 Grenade Launcher and the Type-33 Light Anti-Armor Weapon being included in Halo: Reach.
- The sound file for the weapon was first released in the Bungie Weekly Update 1/29/10, with the title "Mystery Weapon".[4]
