Shooting glasses worn by Staff Sergeant Avery Johnson during the Battle of Harvest.

Shooter Glasses are orange tinted glasses made by ONI.They are military equipment meant to be worn by Marines on the battlefield. They offer no optical magnification, but in the upper corner of the left lens is a small HUD.[1] The glasses provided the ground troops protection from foreign objects that could cause damage to the eye. The tint of the glasses also provided protection from being outside in the sunlight for long periods of time. The glasses proved to provide the needed protection that could degrade the vision of troops in the field.

Shooters glasses were included in Lieutenant Commander al-Cygni's ONI weapons cache. This type of glasses were used in 2525 by Avery Johnson and Nolan Byrne during the Battle of Harvest.

Shooters glasses may or may not be similar to the glasses worn by Dr. Catherine Halsey, which also possess similar technology.[2]
