The CQC Armor, or Close Quarters Combat armor, was a variant of the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/Mark V. It was the predecessor of the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/C variant, or "CQB". Its design was less rigid, making field upgrades easier. This armor is used by spartan threes and twos, even though spartan threes are supposed to wear SPI armor. It is unknown why they can use it.[1]
