An anti-vehicle barrier on Harvest
The Anti-Vehicle Barrier is a wall of blue/purple energy used to stop vehicles and weapons, much like a shield door, except on a larger scale. Used by the Covenant, it was first seen in use on Harvest[1] and on the Tsavo Highway, to prevent UNSC forces from reaching Voi.[2]
Trivia
- It's only effective in halting vehicles and projectiles: a soldier on foot can traverse it harmlessly.
- It can be taken down by a Wraith shot if you hit it in a specific spot.
- The generator is very weak. It can, and should be taken down by melee.
- How this barrier work is uncertain. if it is blocking a certain kind of metal, it should also block Spartans.
