The Gúta,[1] pronounced "Gueta",[2] is a gigantic troll-like species found on the planet Reach. It is known to be hostile, though its level of tolerance towards humanity is not yet known. It is believed to be an enemy towards SPARTANs because when aimed at with the reticle, the reticle turns red. It is also believed to be hostile to Covenant as well.[2]
Description
The Gúta is the largest terrestrial lifeform discovered on Reach. Severe aggression is rare, outside of rutting males or females with young. Even so, they are extremely dangerous animals.[3] Its affiliation is that of Natural Fauna.
