National Governments were governing factions which led the nations on Earth since the 19th century. The National Governments of Earth engaged in several colonial proxy-wars, one of which was the Interplanetary War in the 2100's. Ultimately, national governments on Earth collapsed, paving the way for the creation of a centralized Earth government known as the United Earth Government, which controls the United Nations Space Command.[1]
