You are not able to kill people with the rockets or destroy the vehicles. At the start of the game a VIP will be determined. The VIP has to be the one who crosses the waypoint. If the VIP is killed by getting assasinated then the teammante becomes the next VIP. The VIP can not drive the vehicle and must ride in the back. |

Rocket Race is a new Social Match Gametype in Halo 3 on Xbox Live's Matchmaking. It involves using mongooses or warthogs to reach a waypoint before other teams. It is based on a Gametype called Race that was only featured in Halo:Combat Evolved.
The game includes shooting rocets at other vehicles and trying to get them off course. You are not able to kill people with the rockets or destroy the vehicles. At the start of the game a VIP will be determined. The VIP has to be the one who crosses the waypoint. If the VIP is killed by getting assasinated then the teammante becomes the next VIP.
