Utgard was the capital and the largest city on the human colony of the planet Harvest. [1] Like the rest of Harvest, the city was glassed by Covenant ships in 2525.

- Utgard, like all of Harvest's cities, rivers, seas, and other locations, comes from Norse mythology. It literally means "Outyard".
