Trivia
- He was also likely from the United Kingdom as he held the title of Fellow of the Royal Society, a distinction awarded to British and Irish scientists.[3]
- Shaw's first name, Tobias, may be a reference to Tobias S. Buckell, who was hired to write Halo: The Cole Protocol around the time the name was revealed.[4]
