Tribute was a UNSC colony world in the Epsilon Eridanus System.
It had a history of volcanic activity and appeared to be a cold world. It was one of the major focus points of Operation: TREBUCHET in 2524, where UNSC forces operated against the rebel bomb cells. Its largest population center was Casbah[1]. In one of these operations, Staff Sergeant Avery Johnson and Staff Sergeant Byrne led two teams on Hornets after rebel bomb makers. Three members of Byrne's team were killed in a Jim Dandy resturaunt when one of the rebels detonated a bomb during a hostage situation, also killing 38 civilians[2].
It is speculated that the UNSC Memorial seen in Halo 3 was on Tribute, since the song played during the cutscene was also called "Tribute".
