Moonbase Alpha, also known as Spacecamp, is the codename for one of the Halo 3 Downloadable Content multiplayer maps from the second map pack [1]. It has been described that its fairly large, and is best suited for games such as Capture The Flag and Assault. It has also been stated that it has some unique characteristics that make Slayer interesting and Infection terrifying. In one of the Bungie Weekly Updates it said that fans of Elongation would enjoy the map[2]. This does not mean it is a remake or a spiritual successor, but could relate to the fact Elongation is on a space station.
