It said that there is an increasing amount of evidence of a culture with superlative knowledge of mathematics and astrogation. No human or AI could translate their hieroglyphics, however. It requested extra funding to the excavation process. He also requested an expert in exobiology to assist in studying the ruins, which later are revealed to be made by the Forerunners, an enigmatic ancient race that existed thousands of years before humans.
