The Bungie Armor is an Armor Permutation only available to Bungie Studios employees [1].
Background
The armor shows a ball of flame around the player's helmet, giving them a flaming helmet. It is a body armor permutation that appears identical to the EOD Armor body, excluding the ball of flame it creates around the wearer's head. In addition to this, it does not have the LEDs that are present on the normal EOD body.
Trivia
- In contrast to the Recon Armor, which for a time was believed to be a Bungie-only armor set, the Bungie armor will not be given out to anyone outside the company. As a con, however, the flaming head is still visible even when in Active Camo, negating its usefulness. This could lead to many frustrating deaths during invisible type games.
- Bungie is also advertising it on their website with a logo "Get hired, get fire".
- The appearance of a flaming head is probably another referance to the ninja's with flaming head which Bungie alludes to commonly.
