Guerilla
Guerilla is a Halo 3 Meta-Game Achievement. It is earned when the player earns 15,000 points while playing the meta-game on Sierra 117. This Achievement gives 10 Gamerpoints to the player.
It is represented by a blue circle with a gorilla face in it.
It is also worth noting that "guerilla" is a play on words of "gorilla." The actual term "guerilla" comes from the spanish "guerra" and means, "small war". Guerilla is referred to in this instance by the humans fighting in captured Covenant territory, behind enemy lines.
Possible references to Guerilla:
- The software used by bungie to edit the map tags: Guerilla.
- The game industry Guerilla, who made the Killzone games (meant to be a halo killer for the PS2) which also gave Bungie the idea for the EOD Armor.
- the Brutes are often called "apes" or "guerillas" by UNSC Troops. This medel might be reference to that, as this is the first level which features a full brute army.
