The Fleet of Retribution[1] is a Covenant Separatist Naval unit.
After having fallen under the control of the Sangheili during the Great Schism, the Fleet of Retribution assisted the UNSC during the Second Battle of Earth. Its actions were essential not only in preventing the Flood from spreading, but also in destroying Truth's Jiralhanae-controlled Fleet in battle above the Ark. The only known ship in this Fleet to remain intact by the end of Halo 3 is the Assault Carrier Shadow of Intent.[2]
Notable members of the Fleet of Retribution's Special Warfare Group were the Elites N’tho ‘Sraom and Usze ‘Taham.
