A Company is a measurement in the Military[1].
- A Company consists of a Headquarters unit along with about three Platoons.
- Many times more than one company will be sent out into a battlefield.
- Around three Companies make a Battalion. From there around three Battalions form a Regiment or a Brigade, and from there around three Regiments or Brigades form a Division.
- The rank of Captian commands a Company unless under different circumstances a Lieutenant or so may be in command[2].
