Behind every good UNSC base is a series of good Supply Pads. Providing access to the underground assembly and storage areas, these pads are crucial to the smooth operation of any base. Providing everything from medical kits to full-sized Warthog engines, the crew of a well run supply pad knows that a working pad means a working base.[1] Supply pads are supported by Albatross dropships. It costs 100 Supply points and requires 0 energy units.
The supply pad can be upgraded to a Heavy Supply Pad greatly increasing rescource production for the cost of 225 Supply points and requires 1 energy unit.[2]
They preform the same function as the forerunner supply elevator. If a player captures one of these the player no longer needs the supply pad.
