Jump pack Brutes will often use their high mobility to get behind and surround the player. As such, it is imperitive to listen for the sounds of their jump packs to quickly locate and eliminate them. Sometimes upon being defeated, the jump pack will sometimes malfunction, rocketing the brute wearing it off into a random direction and then exploding.

The Jump Pack Brute is a class of Jiralhanae (Brute) warriors.

On their ventral sides, they carry jump packs for increased mobility. They are the Brute counterpart to Elite Rangers, but unlike the Rangers, they are not capable of complete aerial tactical manuevering; rather, their jump packs propel them on an immense jump greater than even a Man Cannon can offer.
