I belive N'chala is an ancestor of the Master Chief. I belive this because in the comic, it shows him watching the forunners building what is speculated to be the ark, at the beginning of human history. In the Halo 3 trailer it shows the Master Chief looking at the same structure, but at the "end" of human history. N'chala is a respected elder, but Master Chief is respected as a fiersome warrior. | |||
