The Battle of Draco III was fought on the planet of Draco III some time before 2552.

After the Covenant had defeated UNSC ground forces, they didn't take any prisoners. The Covenant herded civilian survivors together and the survivors were torn apart by ravenous Grunts and Jackals, there were no survivors. The Spartan-IIs watched all of this through satellite linkup. By the time the Spartans got there, there was no one left to rescue. But the Spartans then killed the Covenant forces.[1]
