The Iroquois is an UNSC ship commanded by Jacob Keyes during the Battle of Sigma Octanus. This ship was one of the UNSC's newer model, leaving Space Dock at Reach only 3 months before the battle at Sigma Octanus IV. The Iroquois is armed with 2 MAC cannons, 26 oversized Archer missile warheads, and 3 Shiva nuclear warheads. Covered with 2 meters of titanium-A battleplating, the Iroquois could dish out and take a tremendous amount of punishment.
After the battle at Sigma Octanus IV, the ship was ordered back to Reach for debreifing, but unfortunately, a Covenant ship tracked the motions of the Iroquois, and transmitted every location the Iroquois was at. This is how the Covenant found Reach.
