You can defeat a brute with certain weapons such as the Covenant Carbine, Brute Shot, Needler, and the Brute Plasma Rifle. Be cautious because when one Brute has died an another brute notices that one is died it will go into berserk mode when it drops it's weapon and rams you with with the side of his shoulder or try to punch you. Summary
