This is easier to get with the [[Sniper Rifle]] due to the more rapid rate of fire, more ammo capacity and more appearances throughout the many Halo maps. It is harder with the [[Beam Rifle]] due to slow fire rate and constant replacement. Melees with the [[Sniper Rifle]] or [[Beam Rifle]] is not allowed to gain this medal. One of the best tactics or getting this metal is in wide open maps i.e. ([[Sandtrap]], [[Last Resort]] and [[Construct]]). Also, friendly kills do not count either.
