Open Season is a medal awarded in Halo 3 Multiplayer for killing 10 opponents in a row with the shotgun without dying. It is represented by a bronze five-pointed star with three shotgun shells. This medal was called Cheneymania earlier in development. This medal can be easily obtained through many maps, but is easiest on common camping spots or in objective-based games where the focus is drawn away from killing. [1]
