The 102mm High-Explosive Anti-Tank (HEAT) shaped charge can be fired from the UNSC M19 SSM Rocket Launcher and M41 SSR MAV/AW Rocket Launcher. 102mm rockets are large, almost as large as the 105-120mm shells 21st century tanks used to fire.
Warfare
The heat of the 102mm High-Explosive can kill and destroy the following:
- Banshee Ground Support Aircraft in one direct hit.
- Covenant Infantry, of any caste or rank, Hunter included with one direct hit. It will take two hits from splash damage to destroy a Hunter
- Warthog/Spectre/Brute Prowler in 1 to 2 hits depending on hit location.
Trivia
- HEAT missiles were first developed in World War Two for anti-tank usage by the Allies. They used it in their bazookas against Axis Panzers.
