Skipping the light bridge scene

This glitch occurs on the Halo: Combat Evolved level, Halo and the Halo 3 The Covenant.

At the part where you need to press the switch to activate the 'light bridge'. it is possible to skip the clip. This is how:

1. Look down
2. Break the glass underneath you.
3. Plant a Grenade (Preferably a Plasma Grenade).
4. Press X to start the cut-scene.
5. Instead of the cut-scene starting, you will be free to move.
6. If a Marine is still in combat or shooting whether with his Assault Rifle or the LAAG.

Another area is in Halo 3 on the level The Covenant at the citadel where you must activate a bridge to start a cut-scene with the Arbiter killing the prophet of Truth. though the cut-scene still happens, you can get over to the area without activating the light bridge.

1. Get to the switch
2. Plant a Grenade (Preferably Plasma)
3. Run forward

If done correctly, you crossed it without using the bridge. The bridge will automatically activate, though, once you land. t
